Simon Liebel
Simon is the Founder and CEO of Entourage Collection, a group of companies that specialise in projects (film, restaurants, hotels and more), branding, consulting, concierge, and events. With offices in London and Hong Kong, Simon is a respected voice in the luxury and hospitality world.
Best thing about my job... The opportunity to work on amazing new projects behind the scenes, with pioneers in creative fields around the world. In addition to our own projects at Entourage Collection, we work very closely with Construct London, an incredible creative and branding company, who help transform some of the most interesting companies from initial vision to live reality.
Best piece of digital advice I've been given... Always do browser and device testing! Make sure your website works properly across the various different browsers (Safari, Chrome etc.), and make sure a website looks good and works properly on all the various devices out there, desktop computers, androids and iPhones etc. Also, get on board with Social Media!
The website or app that I wish I'd thought of and why... Google, (doesn’t everyone?!) and I am always so impressed by all that Natalie Massenet does.

Best piece of digital advice I've been given... Stop developing. If you can’t sell the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), there’s no point wasting more money. Work out what people want to buy, not what you want to sell.
The website or app that I wish I'd thought of and why... Google Search (and I did think of it in the mid-1980s… timing is everything!). Unlike every other advertising driven business model, users are stating what they’re looking for, the advertiser isn’t guessing. Genius!
Internet hero... Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia), with close second Linus Torvalds (Linux and Github) for reasons I don’t fully understand…
What I'm looking for in a winning site/app... The underlying business needs to solve a problem that people recognise and might be willing to pay to resolve – or have resolved in ways that generates revenue from alternative sources. It also has to start with WHY (watch Simon Sinek!). And it has to explain what it does in one very short sentence.
