Seren London - A British Label With A Focus On Slow Fashion
Anna writes about the contemporary, British label with a focus on slow fashion and effortless style and home of The 'Gee’ Jumpsuit.
Lucia dreamt of creating an item that felt modern, yet reminiscent of times past; a piece that felt polished yet effortless and most importantly, an item that would remain a wardrobe treasure for years to come.

The Gee Jumpsuit is one of their signature styles and all-time bestsellers. The rounded neck and 3/4 sleeves balanced with the low back detail make it chic yet sexy and perfect for all events.
Having previously worked on magazines and luxury PR Lucia combined her knowledge of that world. Seren is short for Serendipity, playing on the idea of luck and fate – the coming together of multiple influences to create something positive and special.
The brand has continued to evolve, including the addition of more laid-back resortwear pieces including off the shoulder dresses and kaftans.

The Seren woman is not led by trends but prefers to invest in quality items that she can use time and time again. Loaded with a calendar of events, she is a modern woman who aims for a slow fashion wardrobe. Offering effortless styles that pair classic silhouettes with luxe fabrics and bold, hand painted prints.
The Angie Dress and Cece Dress are especially easy to wear for all ages and sizes.

There is also a bridal collection. Seren Bride is a capsule of modern jumpsuits and relaxed dresses.
When it comes to ethos and the production process, sustainability and conscious creation is paramount. All the garments that are ethically produced at the brand’s privately owned studio in Mumbai, India. Pieces are either part of a limited-edition, small run collection, or are custom-made, in order to reduce production waste to an absolute minimum.
Continuously working to improve their practices and techniques, the brand is researching new sustainable fabrics for future use, and are offsetting carbon emissions for each Seren delivery.
And what does the future hold? Lucia would love to see Seren evolve slowly and organically; continuing to create beautiful pieces that surpass passing trends. She would love to start introducing some new collaborative pieces- working with artists, print designers and maybe even eventually venture into the world of interiors.
