The Red Edit: How To Wear The Colour Of The Season
Let’s paint the town red: from pillar box to poppy, there is no more showstopping hue.
Each season has a defining hue and this winter it’s a shade we can all get behind. A cheery poppy red may seem like a bold choice but it’s actually universally flattering and just the life-giving pop of colour to revive dull, winter skin. Pair with monochrome or denim to stop it feeling too festive and do look for cosy fabrics, such as wools and jerseys if you want it to feel more relaxed. A bright cherry red lip is great as an instant lift, or you could give just a nod to the trend with a pair of crimson trainers. We guarantee it’s the hue you didn’t know you needed this winter.
