Make a date with your dear mama this Sunday 15 March and treat her to a day of indulgence, culture and fun.
Mothers, whether their children are two or fifty-two, rarely stop going out of their way to soothe, facilitate and provide for their children, whether emotionally, practically or in any other way they can feasibly contort themselves to do. It is, then, important that for at least one day a year, she gets to have a day off and be the one who is looked after for a change. The contentment derived from simply spending time with our offspring, whatever their age, is genuinely enough – but don’t let that stop you from treating her.
