How To Plan The Perfect Mother’s Day Date
Make a date with your dear mama this Sunday 10 March and treat her to a day of indulgence, culture and fun.
Mothers, whether their children are two or fifty-two, rarely stop going out of their way to soothe, facilitate and provide for their children, whether emotionally, practically or in any other way they can feasibly contort themselves to do. It is, then, important that for at least one day a year, she gets to have a day off and be the one who is looked after for a change. The contentment derived from simply spending time with our offspring, whatever their age, is genuinely enough – but don’t let that stop you from treating her. Should you, as the undoubted beneficiary of many unsung labours, wish to push the boat out, we strongly suggest that it will be more than worth it to make a date for some quality time and, moreover, good fun.

It promises to offer a confluence of three excellent things: her acting, a musical adaptation of John Cassavete’s fantastic indie movie, and the music of legend Rufus Wainwright. Intriguing, strange and, we have no doubt, wonderful. Who doesn’t want to see a leftfield musical on Mother’s Day? Book tickets.
